Course Overview

Calm Class - Meet The Oasis Within

Join us for a 4 week series with Naomi Gaskin RP, where we will learn how to navigate through challenging times with time enduring tools and techniques that will take us to the calm oasis within. Our bodies can actually learn how to access resiliency and a calm disposition through which we can navigate and triumph over anything that life delivers to us.

Course Objectives

In these four 90 minute sessions, Naomi will help us to re-calibrate our bodies and re-train our minds to turn our lens inward, making friends with the Self and learning how to monitor our bodies response to stimulus so we can take back control of our responses to life. In the end, you will walk away with many tools including working with breath, inner witnessing, guided meditation and insights from discussion and dialogue.

Course Details

WEEK 1: WHY DEVELOP YOUR CALM

  • Why to develop your calm

  • How finding your inner oasis of calm can build resiliency

  • Learning basics steps toward remembering to turn our lens inward

WEEK 2: DISCERNMENT

  • Working with discernment

  • Making friends with the Self as a witness without judgment

  • Discerning your body’s responses to stimulus through working with opposites

WEEK 3: COHERENCY

  • Becoming aware of our own harmonic electromagnetic field

  • How to return to ourselves from a heart felt experience

WEEK 4: ATTUNEMENT

  • Attunement with our core calm as a practice of service to ourselves and others for Intentional activism starting from self and expanding outwardly in service to love

FACILITATOR

Naomi Gaskin

Naomi Gaskin is a registered psychotherapist practicing in Toronto since 2010. She works from a trauma-informed base psychotherapy with Intuitive alignment strategies, offering a synergy of traditional western methods in complement with tested therapeutic alternatives. She is certified by the Heart-Math Institute as a Heart Coherency Teacher, and is a practitioner of yoga as well as shamanic traditions of indigenous wisdom. She is committed to helping others achieve personal wellness, knowing first-hand the transformative power of good therapy, having survived complex trauma and having recovered from addiction.
