About Us

“ArtHaus exists to ensure artists are supported not just to create, but to sustain.” - Sandy Pandya

ArtHaus was launched during the pandemic by Serena Ryder and Sandy Pandya in response to a growing mental health crisis among artists and music workers. What began as an initiative to raise funds for counselling, emergency relief, and wellness support, quickly revealed a deeper truth: artists didn’t just need help in moments of crisis, they needed systems of support.

As an artist herself, Ryder has experienced firsthand the pressures, isolation, and burnout that can accompany creative careers. Pandya, with decades of experience building cultural platforms and navigating the music industry as a woman of colour, saw how uneven access, lack of education, and fragile support systems left many artists vulnerable.

ArtHaus was built to respond to both realities.

Too often, artists are expected to navigate complex industries without access to education, mentorship, or care-centred support. ArtHaus was built to change that, by designing programs and spaces that centre around care, education, and continuity

Today, ArtHaus operates as a national platform across music, community programming, and cultural development, supporting artists with intention, stability, and long-term sustainability at the centre.

What Makes ArtHaus Different

ArtHaus is not built around hype cycles or short-term visibility. Our work is grounded in:

  • Education before acceleration

  • Care as a foundational pillar, not an afterthought

  • Community-led programming informed by lived experience

  • Sustainable career pathways over momentary success

We believe artists thrive when systems are designed to support them creatively, professionally, and personally.
