We delivers education, mental wellness, and professional development programs for artists and music workers across Canada. As an award-winning nonprofit, our work is rooted in collaboration and strengthened by partnerships with artists, funders, and cultural institutions.
We support emerging and established creatives by providing access to learning, resources, and systems that are often missing from traditional industry pathways.
Our goal is simple: to ensure artists have the tools, care, and support they need to build meaningful, lasting careers.
Our Program Philosophy
ArtHaus Community programs are informed by lived experience and designed in response to real needs — not assumptions.
Our approach is grounded in the belief that care is infrastructure. We prioritize:
Mental health and well-being as foundational, not supplemental
Education before acceleration, ensuring artists understand the industry they’re entering
Accessibility and reduced barriers, including financial and cultural considerations
Long-term sustainability, not short-term visibility or hype
Everything we build is intended to support artists holistically — creatively, professionally, and personally.
Community Impact
Thousands of artists supported through programs and initiatives
National reach across education, wellness, and community engagement
Trusted partnerships with cultural organizations and funders
Recognized for accessible, artist-centred programming
In partnership with Coalition Music and Canada’s Music Incubator (CMI), the South Asian Music Accelerator (SAMA) is a hybrid artist development program aimed at bridging pathways for South Asian talent to thrive within and beyond Canada.
As the official live music programmer for Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, we've spent the past four years building trust, curating exceptional performances, and creating an atmosphere where music by local artists enhances the traveler’s experience.
CANADA’S WALK OF FAME RBC EMERGING MUSICIAN PROGRAM
Now in its 12th year, the program seeks talented solo artists and groups who are eager to advance their careers. As an annual partner, we provide studio access, facilitate critical listening sessions, and support curriculum development.
Founded in partnership with Girls+ Rock Ottawa, this annual scholarship supports students from underserved communities - particularly women and gender-diverse individuals, BIPOC, queer folks, and those from low-income backgrounds - in pursuing the Professional Music Degree program at Toronto Metropolitan University.
We are the Educational Coordinator and Facilitator for this quarterly initiative founded in partnership with ADVANCE, Live Nation, and MLSE. Together, we provide selected participants with a three-day experiential course designed to expose Black youth and their parents to different career opportunities available in the music industry.
